LONDON – A fashion designer from England has taken inspiration from conventional fabric production processes, such as knitting and weaving, to develop 3D printed textile structures.

Frances Murphy, now an ambassador for Create Education and technology partner Ultimaker, collaborated with the pair to leverage a 3D printing machine that she has used to create an interpretation of traditional textiles – something she sees as future trend in the fashion sector.
