ZURICH – A new survey released today from the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), says the global business situation is recovering for the first time since November 2021, with technical textiles, home textiles, and the garment sectors showing signs of improvement.

The ITMF’s Global Textile Industry Survey (GTIS) conducted in the first half of July 2023, shows companies have adapted to the harsh business environment with a regional analysis showing that Asia is struggling the most – whereas the South American textile industry is “back in positive territory”.
