NEW YORK – Software solutions specialist Gerber Technology has announced the opening of its new Innovation Center in New York, said to be a first of its kind facility that enables visitors to stay at the very forefront of technological innovation in the fashion industry.

Announced at the annual ideation event, Gerber outlined its plans for the new centre – situated on the 19th floor of the Starrett-Lehigh building in New York – which it hopes can become grounds for convening industry stakeholders.

As well as open days for visitors to witness the latest in 2D, 3D and computer-aided design (CAD) technology, the space will also be used as an innovation hub for educational institutions to learn of the tools re-shaping the apparel manufacturing industry.
