WINTERTHUR – Swiss staple fibre technology provider Rieter has agreed to purchase three companies from Netherlands-based machinery manufacturer, Saurer, in a deal said to be worth €300 million.
The agreement will see Rieter take change of the Schlafhorst automatic winder business, along with Accotex, a maker of elastomer components for spinning machines, and Temco, which makes bearing solutions for filament machines.
