TOKYO – Japanese industrial sewing machine producer Juki has teamed up with an Italian partner to develop a new generation of robots and automated textile machinery for printing and for the smooth, precise movement of fabrics between finishing equipment during garment production. The company says the aim is to halve the number of workers on garment production lines and to increase competitiveness in textile producing regions that can struggle to fill vacancies in the textile sector. Juki is currently exhibiting at Texprocess, Atlanta (Booth #1033).
