CHESHIRE – A new method of deactivating viruses and bacteria on face masks has been hailed as “probably the most important breakthrough in infection control for almost half a century” by British microbiologist Dr David Webber.  

The technology, developed by SingloTex, uses just water and air to combat potentially harmful pathogens.

It’s suggested that the treatment, which can be applied to textiles, plastics, paints and hard surfaces, has already been found effective against some strains of coronavirus.
