NEW DELHI – According to events management company Messe Frankfurt, demand for antimicrobial textile finishes has proven a huge boost to the textile chemistry sector.  

Innovators across the industry have capitalised on demand for hygiene solutions amidst the pandemic by developing antimicrobial technologies, many of which have proven effective against SARS-CoV-2. 

“The future of textile chemical segment looks promising. Year-on-year the application of textile chemicals have continued to evolve and expand into different textile sectors,” noted Raj Manek, executive director and board member at Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings.
