BEAVERTON – Sportswear giant Nike has applied its FlyEase technology to the development of new kids’ shoes.
The footwear integrates a collapsible heel that’s said to be suitable for children with or without a disability.
“Kids aren’t saying, ‘Okay, it’s time to go switch my shoes now. They’re going from activity to activity to activity, and we know our products need to stand up to that spectrum of use,” said Kevin Dodson, Nike’s global vice president for kids footwear products.
