CANTON – US sportswear brand Reebok is planning on using corn in an upcoming range of footwear, as part of its new ‘Cotton + Corn’ initiative. While shoe soles are typically made of materials derived from petroleum, in this case the more sustainable commodity of industrial grown corn will be used as an alternative.
