MIRFIELD – British textile manufacturer Camira Group has acquired American fabric supplier Luna Textiles in an effort to broaden its portfolio and branch out into US markets.

The West Yorkshire-based firm is said to produce more than nine million metres of textile per year and has an annual turnover exceeding £100m, the acquisition will see Luna continue to operate as an independent brand, but will be a gateway for Camira to access American markets.
