UMEÅ – Swedish researchers have developed a flexible and transparent textile surface which is claimed to have the ability to emit light for over 180 hours. Scientists from the Organic Photonics and Electronics Group at Umeå University in Sweden say the material has potential to make smart clothing a more seamless and appealing prospect to everyday users.
