ESPOO – The BioLayr antimicrobial textile treatment of Finnish firm NordShield has proven effective against SARS-CoV-2 in third-party tests.
Virology Research Services, in London, UK, undertook the assessments to gauge whether the solution was effective in combatting the strain of COVID-19.
It concluded that after two hours of contact, BioLayr demonstrated 99.9 per cent antiviral efficacy against the strain.
