Rieter acquires SSE Textile Machinery
ZURICH – Rieter, the Swiss textile machinery supplier, has paid CHF124.2 million for SSM Textile Machinery from Schweiter Technologies, after a deal was struck on 30 June 2017. SSM Textile Machinery was the yarn processing and manufacturing arm of Schweiter, who also own 3A Composites and employs 246 workers. It reported profits of CHF11.6 million in the 2016.
